Our client is seeking a Senior Management Consultant specializing in Oil & Gas Marketing and Trading operations to create information flows and design a future state business process.

Please note this is a remote role with occasional travel to Calgary.

Must Haves:

• 10+ years as a Business Analyst or Cude Marketing Analyst specializing in Process Analysis and reporting within the Oil & Gas industry
• Experience with oil measurement, movement, sales and crude marketing business including: molecule forecasts, demand, blending, sales, transfers, quality, and supply
• Good understanding of COLC, Equalization and Settlement process.
• Experience analyzing current information flow and make recommendations about best practices to ensure quality data is collected at source and integrity is maintained throughout process.

Nice to Haves:

·        Experience with Power BI

·        Experience with US crude markets would be an asset

Position Responsibilities:

• Gather and document business requirements Marketing and other corporate groups.
• Map current information flows from data collection to settlement.
• Analyze and design future state business process.
• Analyze associated information flow ensuring quality data is collected at source and integrity is maintained throughout process.
• Assess existing systems to determine business fit to support new process.
• Complete market assessment of systems/tools if required.
• Build business case for new process and supporting technology solution(s).
