Our client is looking for a Senior Manager with a background in Product Management to lead a team through a product strategy rollout to enhance customer experience on their Digital Banking platform.

This permanent position is 100% remote, with some flexibility in working hours

Must Haves:
  • 6+ years' experience working as a Manager leading a team
    • Well organized, strong analytic skills coupled with innovative thinking, and a bias for action.
    • Ability to drive clarity out of ambiguous situations
    • An ability to build strong professional relationships with peers, leaders, and clients.
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills resulting in the ability to work effectively with both technical and business professionals.
    • Ability to lead in a matrixed environment
  • Must have a background in Product Management
    • ‚ÄčProven track record with specific examples of delivering customer-facing and business impact on services with YoY growth attributed to product delivery
    • Experience delivering customer facing product innovation in the Canadian financial sector
    • Proven history, working for fintech delivery mobile first and online or web based second, satisified user base, mobile in their responsibility section, embedded reviews, how satisfied  the users are with the delivery.
  • Overall strategic and operational accountability for the product management team through the entire product life cycle for growth and profitability within the line of business including product strategy, feature roadmap prioritization and sequencing, backlog grooming, product and services catalogue pricing, and product vendor/partner management
  • Thought leadership on product management teams’ improvements to structure and process, while maintaining effective controls and metrics to ensure the service delivery model consistently meets or exceeds customer expectations from a product perspective
  • Coach and mentor staff to create an environment for high performing, highly motivated and engaged team of professionals through career development and performance management
  • Ensure work is appropriately divided, issues are quickly identified, and team members are supported to get their work done on schedule with the resources provided
  • Work closely with colleagues across functions to contribute, plan and successfully deliver on all line of business annual objectives including product-based budgets and forecast to actual reporting
  • Product Council Chair facilitating roadmap execution status reporting, customer alignment on feature priorities, trade-offs, and product specific knowledge in support of effective decision making while ensuring the voice of the customer is consistently represented across all operations
  • Contribute regularly to the governance council sessions, providing product advisory services and alignment on strategic direction for the digital banking product and FinTech integrations
  • Stay current on vendor/partner product roadmaps and release notes and market research, consistently identifying opportunities to engage and collaborate to influence user experience, accelerate feature adoption, while minimizing total cost of ownership
  • Manage feature champion engagements from Discovery to Production, working closely with professional services team to ensure the outcome of each engagement is a repeatable, predictable, and scalable implementation approach
