Senior Network Analyst required to help this municipality with some of their Cisco projects

Senior Network Analyst required to help this municipality with some of their Cisco projects. The role will be onsite at the head office and various building sites. In the role you will: Project lead on acquisition and implementation of approved IT infrastructure systems. • Evaluate available network, server, storage, voice infrastructure systems and prepare recommendations. • Evaluate user requirements for systems including, identifying, and recommending hardware, software, and related services. • Research, recommend and prepare reports, guidelines, and procedures for computer security. • Plan, assign and supervise the work of a small group of employees engaged in maintaining the server, voice/data network systems and security solutions. • Establish effective communication with users, suppliers, and applicable internal/external contact.

Must Haves:

• Cisco CCNA or higher certification (current)
• 3 to 5 years hands on working experience with Cisco technologies (switching, wireless, routing, DNA, ISE, Cisco Secure Endpoint, Source Fire)
• Experience with distributed virtual switching
• Experience with network data cabling / patch panels & network closets.  

 
Nice to have:
Experience with Palo Alto Firewalls, F5 technologies (Big IP, GTM, APM), Microsoft 365 / Azure, Cloud Networking
