One of our BC health authority clients is looking for a Senior Pharmacy Informatics Consultant with experience on Cerner Millennium, specifically Cerner PharmNet and PowerOrders modules - REMOTE
This contract engagement is for 15 months. The individual may work remotely but availability or proximity to be able to attend on site at times is desirable.
PROJECT MANDATE: This health authority implemented Pharmacy Computerized Provider Order Entry at a local hospital in 2016 and is now looking to expand CPOE to other tertiary centres.
MUST HAVES
This contract engagement is for 15 months. The individual may work remotely but availability or proximity to be able to attend on site at times is desirable.

MUST HAVES
- 7+ years experience as an Informatics Consultant
- Expertise with Cerner Millennium and more specifically Cerner PharmaNet and PowerOrders
- Familiarity with pharmacy operations and CPOE (Computerized Provider Order Entry) tools
- Experience with BC Health Authorities
- The consultant will meet regularly with the Pharmacy Informatics team and the project team to solution aspects of the Cerner build that have not yet been completed.
- Develop documents that describe the options for addressing an aspect of the build and may be asked to present with the manager and/or coordinator the options in Working Group or Quality Council meetings for decision.
