Our Calgary client is looking for a Senior Program Delivery Lead with experience in data engineering, ETL processes, and data integration, and a strong understanding of data lake architectures to oversee an ERP data migration program

Must Haves:

  • 3+ years of experience as Program Delivery Lead managing and guiding technical teams
  • 7+ years in data engineering, ETL processes, and data integration, with a strong understanding of data lake architectures
  • AWS experience
  • Strong experience in leading teams in an agile or dev-ops model

Nice to Have:

  • Project Management Certification (e.g. PMP)
  • Experience in an O&G, Energy, or Retail domain
  • Experience with SAP data migration and familiarity with legacy system data extraction

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and communicate a clear program strategy, roadmap, and objectives to ensure alignment across the product teams, solution architects, data architects, data governance, data security programs, and other stakeholders.
  • Lead cross-functional product teams of data engineering and front-end development experts in an agile product delivery model.
  • Drive the successful migration of data from legacy systems and SAP into the enterprise data lake.
  • Hands-on in data engineering projects, guiding the team to design, develop, test, and maintain data pipelines, ETL processes, and transformations.
  • Work closely with front-end developers to ensure seamless data integration into reporting and analytics interfaces.
  • Closely work with the Digital platform team to ensure proper governance and development standards are followed.
