Location Address: Hybrid - 44 King Street W 23rd Floor; 1-2 days/week
Contract Duration: ASAP to Oct 31, 2022
Possibility of extension for 6+ months after

Project:
Contributes to the overall success of the Data Office in Canada ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives related to the Data Transformation Program.
The main function of the Project Coordinator is to provide project support to scrum masters & project managers and general administrative duties as needed. The Project Coordinator arranges schedules and regulates flow of work within or between organizational groups or businesses. Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
• Support scrum masters in following up with teams on tasks and project schedules related to domain mobilization.
• Participate in meetings with business partners and team members to determine progress of work and identify additional follow up needs.
• Provide general administrative support including monitoring calendar, setting up meetings, taking and distributing minutes.
• Work with PMs, EPMO & Finance to manage forecast and reconcile actuals in financials for overall program.
• Setup & maintain confluence site.
• Ensure all artifacts per EDF methodology are loaded in the necessary sites (e.g. confluence) and audit as required
• Support PM on various status reporting related to project work.
• Support PM on future business case development.

• Support project financials and understanding business case
• Understanding Enterprise Delivery Framework
Must Have Skills:
1) 2+ years’ experience within project finances and project administration, preferably within banking
2) Strong knowledge of Excel to manage project financials
Nice-To-Have Skills:
1) Previous Scotiabank experience strong asset
2) Experience with JIRA, Confluence, CA-PPM, MS Projects are assets (list which)
Education
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience/education
PMI/PMP an asset but not required
