Our public sector financial client is seeking Project Manager for a Cyber Security Modernization. 
   
Working directly with both the Director, Application Deliver and Operations, and the Vice President, Cyber
Security and Risk, the Project Manager is responsible for managing the Cyber Security Modernization. 
Initiative (“Project”). The Project will focus on replacing ~ 70 Windows Server 2012 platforms that are
approaching Microsoft’s end of life support date. Each replacement server will be running on a hardened

Windows Server 2019 platform, and re-installed applications will be appropriately architected from both
a cyber security and functional perspective.

Expected outcomes will include:
o All replacement servers migrated to organizations security architecture
o A migration that minimizes disruption to the business
o Improves cyber security resiliency and hardening as part of each migration
o Detailed network diagrams and data flow diagrams for each migrated application
o Alleviates the current levels of high demand faced by the existing cyber security team and
applications teams
o Reduced risk through retirement of end-of-life assets and replacement with current
modernized assets

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Apply a comprehensive understanding of project management to:
  • Identify and manage stakeholders and cross-project dependencies
  • Initiate, plan and execute the project, and ensure efficient transition to operations
  • Ensure project team activities remain aligned with project objectives and timelines 

 QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Project Management Professional, or equivalent, designation
  • Minimum 7 years’ direct experience managing multiple complex projects ideally focused on cyber security and architecture 
  • Experience within the finance/asset-management industry an asset
  • Degree in business, computer science or finance an asset
  • Excellent interpersonal, facilitation, problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communications, and presentation skills
  • Flexible and client-service oriented
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities
  • Comfort with a fast-paced environment.
