Our valued Public Sector client is in need of a Senior Project Manager to assist in the migration from on prem to cloud data infrastructure.
Background
Our valued Public Sector clients are currently finalizing the planning for a major initiative which will look at integrating cloud technology (Azure, AWS, IBM cloud). This technology will integrate with the organizations long-time embedded legacy environment which include mainframes, datacenters, in-house developed applications and CMS portals. As this is a massive initiative it will be split into several different groups. Our initial group within this organization will be focusing on the on-prem to cloud data infrastructure. In order to get the project moving our clients will be looking to bring on a Senior Project Manager who can help lead the team and maintain key stakeholder engagement during the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities:
- Manage the project during the development, implementation and operations startup by ensuring that resources are made available and that the project is developed and is fully operational within previously agreed time, cost and performance parameters.
- Prepare and validate TBS grade dashboards, plans, charts, tables and diagrams to assist in analyzing or displaying problems; work with a variety of project management tools. Includes managing risk and issue logs in support of project communications management, governance and change management.
- Maintain process improvement including lessons learned, communication and change management throughout the full lifecycle of the project delivery.
- Define and document the objectives for the projects, including project charters, plans, financial management, risk and issue management, projected and actual expenditures financial monitoring
- Has experience working in a devops and agile environment
- Has experience in previous cloud initiatives
- Federal government clearance at the level of Secret or above
