Our valued public sector client is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead a Modernizational Initiative


Tasks (Including but not limited to):

  • Planning and coordinating project management activities including financial, planning and contracting aspects
  • Developing, planning, analyzing, evaluating and prioritizing deliverables and requirements
  • Giving briefings on progress and concerns of project
  • Act as a liaison between the technical team and functional end users
  • Coordinating and preparing documentation in response to scheduled and unscheduled reports, returns and observations to update management on project progress
  • Producing draft plans and sections for incorporation into the Project Implementation Plan
  • Preparing draft evaluation plans, criteria and evaluation schedules
  • Planning, directing and controlling the activities of a project team within scheduled time and cost parameters
  • Monitoring the design, implementation and operations start-up of the project against established goals, objectives and milestones
  • Meeting with stakeholders and other project managers and stating problems in a form capable of being solved
  • Manage project using Agile approach and monitor project progress, develop project plan, manage project inherent risks and assist or led the operationalization of key initiatives
  • Implement a core set of service management processes required to support cloud consumption of cloud platform services and notably implementing a self-service portal


Required experience:

  • Project Experience of Cloud cost management services, establishing governance, processes and support model for cloud consumption.
  • Good knowledge of DevSecOps on MS Azure and AWS
  •  Support the development of a TB submission


Deliverables:

  • Developments of the program and project artefacts (i.e. Project Charter, Project Plan, Project Schedules, Benefit realization plan, Project logs, etc.) 
  • Development of a procurement plan for the program activities 
  • Development of communications notes including speaking notes
  • Development of decks and annotated agendas to brief organization executives on project imperatives 
  • Developments of various status reports to report on Program activities
