Our client is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead an end-to-end business and technology transformation project with a focus on Fleet Management
Calgary-Based client. 37.5 hour work week. This position requires the individual to be on-site in downtown Calgary when needed - Partial remote work is acceptable

Responsibilities:
The Senior IT Project Manager will work on in-house development and vendor implementation projects. Teams will consist of IT resources, business clients, vendors and other internal/external stakeholders. This position requires an adaptable individual with strong communication skills, and proven ability to develop trusted work relationships. The ability to work in a technical team environment, demonstrating innovation, initiative, a customer service focus and the ability to meet commitments is essential.
This individual must clearly be able to demonstrate team leadership, change leadership, political acumen, influencing, planning, and organizing skills. Ability to adapt and align performance for success and see the 'big picture' whilst maintaining awareness of the smaller details.

Must have's:
- 10+ years of Project Management expereince with large, complex technology transformation projects
- Experience working with both Business Sponsors and IT departments to implement project solutions (Policies, Processes and Integrations)
- Harmonizing new processes through process re-engineering with an understanding of Change Management
- Managing enterprise projects in parallel with multidisciplinary project teams consisting of internal staff from IT and clients, contractors, and vendors
- Experience implementing and working on a Computer Aided Dispatch/Automatic Vehicle Location (CAD/AVL) system enabling communications for Operator safety, feeds to real-time customer information systems, and provides vehicle location to Operations Control
- Previous work experience with municipal, other government organizations or equivalent/related endeavors;
- Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to build and manage complex relationships with groups/individuals with varying perspectives, interest and roles;
- Strong leadership, planning, change management and analytic skills;
- Well-developed communication skills including oral, written, presentation, facilitation and mediation skills (negotiation and mediation);
- Ability to work with a diverse audience and reach a consensus on critical project decisions.
- Strong organizational and time management skills
