Our valued public sector client is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the implementation and operational “go-live” of new functionality to a steady-state support model.


Responsibilities(Including but not limited to):

  • Schedule and facilitate all meetings with the Project Team and/or Business Client (Program Area)
  • Plan and coordinate Transition project management activities such as: project transition scope and resource planning, development of project artifacts development, project change control management; risk and issue management, project strategies, documentation
  • Define and document project Transition timelines and determine if all elements required to ensure proper support in a steady-state have been identified and accounted for delivered;
  • Ensure that functional and detailed business requirements are adequately documented, centralized and made available to the support team
  • Provide advice and updates to the Sr. Management 
  • Suggest improvements to the Transition process
  • Manage the project during the transition to "go live" by ensuring that resources are made available and that projects are developed and fully operational within previously agreed time, cost and performance parameters
  • Define and document project objectives and determine budget requirements related to the portfolio of projects
  • Advising Senior Management on a range of issues affecting the organization's ability to achieve the project's business objectives


Must haves:

  • Secret Clearance
  • Degree or Diploma and Relevant Certificate 
  • Experience in leading Transition Projects
  • Experience in Project Gating, project Plans, Synthesizing information,  
  • Working with in an Ambiguous environment to create structure
