S.i. Systems public sector client is renovating multiple facilities / office locations across Metro Vancouver. The renovations are in flight. They are seeking a Senior Project Manager to manage the facilities renovation project including the technology aspect of the Hybrid Workplace project.
Access to a vehicle and able to visit the facilities under renovation - You must live in Metro Vancouver
JOB DUTIES:
Work to understand the current, future, and required projects adhering to the Hybrid Workplace
standards
• Collaborating with trades and internal employees and determine needed resources from start to finish
with attention to budgetary concerns
• Assist with planning construction operations and schedule phases to ensure deadlines are met
• Implement governance and process
• Handle project administration including schedule control and change order administration
• Outline and execute critical project management processes and workflows
• Manage project risk, compliance, and enterprise governance
• Manage project issues and escalate to senior management where necessary.
• Oversee project documentation including project plan, project charter, risk registry, etc.
MUST HAVE SKILLS:
Access to a vehicle and able to visit the facilities under renovation - You must live in Metro Vancouver

- 5+ years of experience as a Project Coordinator / Project Manager in a construction / building development role
- Experience owning a construction budget
- Experience liaising with building contractors and consultants
- Public sector experience
