Our valued financial services client is seeking a Senior Project Manager to support the delivery of data center migration and integration initiatives in an agile environment.

Initial 2-year contract, with a strong likelihood of extension to a total 3 year term. Hybrid work model: 2 days/week of on-site work will be required in downtown Ottawa, ON. 

  • Assist with the implementation of medium-to-large IT infrastructure and application projects
  • Provide guidance to others on matters relating to project management practices and methodologies
  • Work with the project team to develop and present project proposals, business cases, charters, project plans, and change and risk logs
  • Prioritize work to achieve project objectives and ensuring the collaboration of other teams
  • Function as a central point of contact for all project resources and subject matter experts
  • Understand client needs and support effective resolution of client inquiries and concerns
  • Assist with the development of plans and track mechanisms to ensure appropriate follow-up and completion of tasks
  • Assist with the development and maintenance of supporting documentation, executive briefings, and records of decisions
  • Maintain collaborative relations with all stakeholders to support the successful delivery of the project’s objectives
  • 8+ years of experience as a Project Manager 
  • 3+ years of recent work experience delivering IT infrastructure projects
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Experience working in an agile/scrum delivery environment

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and French
  • Experience working in a large financial services or technology environment
