Senior Project Manager to work on an Agile project for a client within the airline industry

Duration is for a 5 month contract with a strong possibility of extension. The work for this role is fully remote. 

Overview: 
Our client is Canada's largest airline and the largest provider of scheduled passenger services in the Canadian market, the Canada-U.S. transborder market and in the international market to and from Canada.

Responsibilities:

• Strong Project Management fundamentals - issue, risk, stakeholder management
• Demonstrate proficient knowledge of Scrum, Agile theory, methodology, techniques, rules, and practices, estimating/sizing, planning, forecasting, reporting, conflict resolution and facilitation
• Knowledge of current and emerging Agile industry trends and best practices and internal or external business issues to improve team efficiency
• Help to resolve complex problems, taking a new perspective using existing solutions
• Ability to lead, plan, execute and evaluate project activities, contributing to team’s direction and function
• Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships across teams and functions
• Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form to all levels and types of stakeholders (i.e. business, technology, sponsors and control functions)
• Demonstrates adaptability, flexibility and creativity in their approach to stakeholder engagement and work to support the Agile transformation agenda

Must Have's:

• Agile/Scrum
• Jira and Confluence
• 8+ years of Project Management experience

Nice to Have:

• Agile Certification or equivalent 
• Project Management Certification
• Product Owner Certification
