Senior Project Manager with experience working on Materials Management within an ERP system (SAP), for a public sector client.

Our valued public sector client is in need of a Senior Project Manager with experience working on Materials Management within an ERP system (SAP). 

Background:

There are currently several projects underway in different phases of development, which are at a level of complexity that require dedicated project managers to manage the scoping, scheduling, and implementation of these projects.  The two most notable projects being the Material Identification (MI) and Business Partner projects.

Responsibilities:

• Provide project reports/status reports and provide briefings on progress and concerns of project(s)
• Perform project scheduling activities using MS Projects
• Work closesly with integrators/stakeholders and conduct project reviews lesson/learned
• Support the negotiation of service level agreements (SLA’s), memoranda of understanding (MOU's), or other inter-departmental agreements between organizations both internal and external to the department
• Provide advice and support to senior management on concepts, principles and best practices of project management for successful planning and implementation of the requirements management and project management processes
• Facilitate the knowledge transfer to staff (group and/or individual) for the effective use of methods, tools and templates

Must Haves:

• Material Management experience and knowledge
• Project Management Certificate (PMP, Prince 2, etc)
• Uiversity Degree or Diploma in a relevant field of study
