Senior SA&A Specialist to conduct IT infrastructure security assessments within an Azure and/or AWS cloud environment, for a public sector client.

Our valued client is searching for a Senior SA&A Specialist to conduct IT infrastructure security assessments within an Azure and/or AWS cloud environment.

Background:

After reviewing and perofrming an in-depth analysis of their security protocols, the organization identified the need to implement a continual SA&A process to conduct security assessments following changes made to the system. Moreover, the organization is in the process of selecting a cloud option to accomodate their system. The required consultant will have experience conduction secuirty assessments as well as have working experience within both Azure and AWS cloud platforms.

Tasks May Include:

• Perform security assesments within an Azure and/or AWS cloud enviornment that include assessments such as;
  • Security impact assessments, threat risk assessments, vulnerabilities assessments, privacy impact assessments, and business impact assessments
• Updated SA&A package for the main system and its associated systems
• Assess compliance with government of Canada ITSG-33 security protocols
• Review, analyze, create and/or update relevant SA&A documentation such as: Concept of Operation, IT Security Architecture, Statement of Sensitivity, and Statement of Acceptable Risk and strategy documents for each SA&A package
• Analyze, review, and make recommendations concerning the IT security posture of the organization's system, interfaces, functionality, and associated systems

Must Haves:

• SA&A experience - 8-10 years
• Azure and/or AWS experience - 5+ years
• Knowledge of ITSG-33

Nice to Haves:

• Knowledge of SAP
