Our valued crown corporation client is seeking a Senior SAP ABAP Developer to support a migration from SAP ECC to SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central (Part-Time/Remote)


Initial 1-year contract in Ottawa, ON with a possibility of extension up to a total term of 3 years. 100% remote. Flexible part-time schedule with an average of 21 hours/week - the successful candidate will need to participate in occasional meetings and calls throughout the day.


Responsibilities:

  • Analyze source data in SAP ERP Central Component (ECC) and identify the necessary data fields and structures to be migrated to SuccessFactors Employee Central
  • Design and configure the necessary data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes to migrate employee data from SAP ECC to SuccessFactors Employee Central
  • Perform data migration tests and validation to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the migrated data
  • Provide post-migration support to resolve any data migration issues that may arise
  • Develop ABAP code to create custom validations in SuccessFactors Payroll Control Center (PCC)
  • Analyze the client's payroll requirements and identify the necessary custom validation rules to be built in SuccessFactors PCC using advanced business application programming (ABAP)
  • Design and configure the necessary custom validation rules in SuccessFactors PCC using ABAP
  • Perform testing and verification of the custom validation rules to ensure they meet the client's payroll requirements
  • Provide post-implementation support to resolve any issues that may arise
  • Provide support on various payroll and SAP replications process enhancements


Must-Have Skills:

  • 10+ years of demonstrated experience as an SAP ABAP developer, with a focus on payroll processing and time management
  • Demonstrated experience working with both SAP ECC and SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central
  • Demonstrated ability to serve as a technical lead and develop user guide documentation
