Our client is seeking a Senior Scrum Master with experience focused on Data analytics working within an agile environment
Contract duration is 1 year, work is 100% remote
Overview
The Scrum Master supports the team and the Product Owner and helps them to communicate, solve problems and Data & Analytics solutions. They will act as a gatekeeper of the agile approach by leading all agile ceremonies, removing impediments and shielding teams from external distractions. The Scrum Master is a personal coach for team members and innovators who constantly seek ways to improve themselves and the team
Must Haves
Responsibilities
Lead the team on Agile/Scrum/Kanban best practices and values
Responsible for scheduling and facilitating key agile ceremonies, such as stand-ups, planning, product demos and retrospectives
Supporting the team to identify roadblocks and remove impediments that prevent the team from delivering product features to our customers
Facilitate discussions between the team and the Product Owner to collaborate on creation and estimation of user stories
Increase the team's agile fluency through coaching the team to embrace and embed agile practices in their work
Facilitate discussion and conflict resolution
Assist with intemal and external communication at all levels of Management
Enable the team to become self-organized and empowered to consistently deliver on their sprint commitments
Ensure the development teams are practicing the core agile principles of collaboration, prioritization, team accountability, and visibility.

Must Haves
- 8+ years of Scrum Master experience focused on data analytics
- Demonstrated proficiency in Scala, Python, Java or Javascript
- Thorough understanding of Agile software development methodologies, values, and practices.
- Experience with SDLC tools like JIRA, and Confluence
- Outstanding facilitation skills, interpersonal skills, and experience working with multi-disciplinary team
- Thorough understanding of the software development lifecycle
- Must have exceptional communication skills, organization, and time management skills
