Our Valued Public Sector Client is seeking services of a Senior Secret Cleared Project Manager to support the planning, deploying and modifying of new and existing enterprise application integration projects

Job Description:

Our client requires additional resources to assist with the delivery and support of existing and upcoming projects leveraging various technologies. These resources will supplement existing staff to ensure that new and existing IM/IT projects adhere to the established project management and delivery processes that have been developed to provide for the efficient and effective management and delivery of IM/IT products or services to their clients. Our client is ongoing with the planning, management, and deployment of multiple technologies delivery mechanism in support of enterprise application integration projects involving Business Processes, Collaboration, Microsoft 365, Data Modernization, Canada.ca integration and Portals. The projects will focus on planning, deploying, and targeting new or significant modifications of existing and new enterprise implementations. They are also planning for the ongoing support of existing and future products and development technologies and can foresee the use of other technologies as needed.

Must Haves:
  • SECRET Clearance
  • PMP or Prince 2 certification
  • 10+ Years: Managing projects during the development, implementation, and transition to operations.
Deliverables: 
  • High-level project plan – within 5 days of request; 
  • Project detailed cost estimate – within 5 days of request; 
  • Project schedule – within 3 business days of request; 
  • Updated schedule – 28th of every month and within one business day of request; 
  • Presentation deck for every CIO project review and RC. 
  • Support the implementation of the projects by preparing all artefacts and information related to the Project Management Model. 
  • Status and Progress Reports to the Project Delivery Office (PDO) – bi-weekly and within one business day of request. 
  • Project Plans in MS Project detailing resource allocation, work breakdown structure and timelines and revisions to – on or the last working day before the 28th of every month; 
  • Completed Project Management artifacts including but not limited to the Project Charter, project management plan, Statement of Sensitivity, and others as per the department Project Management Model.; 
  • Project briefings to the IT Executive – bi-weekly; 
  • Weekly timesheets.
