Senior System Architect with proven experience implementing Complex and medium to large scale Guidewire and Guidewire digital project

Term: 12 months
Extension option(s): 6 Months

1 University Degree in applied sciences such as Computer Sciences, Systems Design,
Engineering, Business or a combination of education, training and experience deemed
equivalent. 
2 A minimum 6 years of solution architecture/solution design experience, ideally with
experience in Guidewire applications; with solid background in
technology/infrastructure architecture planning, design, development and
implementation
3 Knowledge and expertise in the principles, practices and latest concepts in Enterprise
Architecture, Project Management methodologies and Solutions Development life
cycles, with the ability to promote a coherent, corporate approach to enterprise
architecture. 
4 Strong oral and written communication techniques to prepare reports, reviews, briefing
materials and correspondence; presentation skills to present information and findings,
options and recommendations to senior officials and managers; ability to present ideas
and suggestions clearly and effectively and in a user-friendly manner; maintain a high
level of customer service to both internal and external clients. 
5 Experience producing target solution architecture, as-is documentation, and to-be
Blueprints 
6 Self-motivated; able to work independently to complete tasks and respond to
department requests and to collaborate with others to use their resources and
knowledge to identify high quality solutions; high initiative and ability to prioritize in a
high-pressure environment and ability to work on simultaneous projects 

Nice to have:

• Excellent knowledge of RDBMS – Oracle and SQL Server relational databases and

experience in the use of XML, Web Services, and Enterprise Service Bus (ESB)
technologies for applications and systems interoperability, including SFTP/MFT,
WebSphere and Message Broker are desirable 

We are recruiting for a System Architect with proven experience implementing Complex and medium to
large scale Guidewire and Guidewire digital projects in a fast pace environment. The Solution Architect
candidate must be able to develop, refresh and obtain approvals of solution architecture
artifacts for solution development for all identified projects as well as. The candidate must have
experience developing architecture solutions involving integrations of multiple applications, and
have experience with the with large external SaaS providers and on premises solutions. The
candidate must collaborate and work with internal parties and vendor partners to develop,
document and gain approval of the solution architectures and/or design artifacts.
