Senior Technical Business Analyst to help with hardware and software analysis and to provide deployment solutions with our public-sector client (Req 168)

Our client is seeking a Senior Technical Business Analyst to help with hardware and software analysis and to provide deployment solutions

The successful candidate will require a combination of project management and analysis skills to conduct requirements gathering, technical analysis, solution design, and project planning and estimating. This role requires experience in working in a leadership role as it pertains to technical projects with the preferred candidate having solid technical experience with both software and hardware projects.

37.5 hours per week. Calgary-Based role,. Candidates can be 100% remote in Canada. 


Must-haves for the role: 

• 5+ years of Technical Business Analyst experience with Hardware and Software upgrade and deployment projects.  Ideal candidate background would be data center moves, infrastructure​ upgrades and application enhancements. 
• 5+ years of experience creating business cases and collaborating with multiple stakeholders 
• 5+ years of Microsoft product experience. 
• 2+ years of experience managing IT projects

Nice to have's for the role: 

• Proven verbal and written communication skills demonstrating ability to work with various audiences (including technical experts and decision-making managers)
• Proficiency in documenting requirements and other project required artifacts
• Strong understanding of both the hardware and software components of an IT project
• Previous work experience in the public sector or large organizations
