Our Public Sector clients are seeking a Senior Test Automation Specialist who can support the further design and development of a scalable UI focused test automation system.

Background:

Our clients are working on the development of a test automation system to support the scalability of testing User Interface (UI) layers. In order to complete this they are hoping to bring on two (2) Senior Test Automation Specialists who can work to quickly learn the system and assist the team with creating test scripts for existing test cases and developing a process for automated testing moving forward. The Test Automation Specialists will play a key role in both the test planning, test execution and defect resolution processes.

Responsibilities:

• Perform system concept formulation, system design analysis and subsystems design analysis
• Supports the analysis of business requirements by utilizing knowledge of business areas and Workflow applications for the portfolio supported
• Assist in improvement of security testing processes and tools including education activities for the developer community
• Contribute to development and delivery of tactical and strategic QA plans and initiatives and manage governance
• Have input into the schedule and sequence of testing activities
• Contribute to test automation strategy, utilize test automation tools for efficiency & cost reduction
• Provide test progress status/reports to QA Leads, Project Manager and Project team
• Create and / or maintain an automated regression test suite test data set
• Respond to user questions regarding system behaviour and provide assistance during defect resolution.

Must Have:

• Government of Canada (GoC) security clearance at the level of Secret (Level 2) or above)
