Senior Trade Finance Analyst to work on Standby Letter of Credit and Commercial Letter in regulation with ICC standards for a large banking client

Interview Process: 1 round – 1 hr interview – will feature soft skills assessment + technical assessment pertaining to trade finance -standby letters of credit and letters of guarantee

Work Location : HYBRID - 2 days in office – **first three months in office during training required** Montreal, Toronto, Calgary or Vancouver



Description:

  • Be an expert in the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) rules and standards (ISP98, URDG758, UCP600) with ability to provide consultation to large multi-national clients
  • Expert knowledge and understanding of the Standby Letter of Credit (SBLC) & Letter of Guarantee (LG) transactional life cycle in a global environment 
  • Excellent relationship management and customer service skills required to facilitate positive interaction with our stakeholders and clients.
  • Review and provide recommendation of instrument drafting to protect Bank & Client Risk prior to Issuance


MUST HAVE:

  • 5+ Years Expereince as a Trade Finance Analyst
  • Experience in standby letters of credit and letters of guarantee and products in commercial letters of credit
  • Expert knowledge in International chamber of commerce rules - Be an expert in the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) rules and standards (ISP98, URDG758, UCP600)


 

NICE TO HAVE

  • CDCS, CSDG accreditation an asset – (to be converted to FTE later on they require this)
  • Bilingual Preferred – English in French – especially if reporting into Montreal office
