Senior Transition PM to Co-lead the Managed Workplace Services project

18 months + 6 months extension
Hybrid (1 day a week on site)

Must Haves:
  • 10 years’ progressive leadership experience in delivering IT through negotiation and supplier management 
  • 5+ years of demonstrated experience in leading IT projects in Managed Workplace Services, Transition Services or Transformation Services with cross-functional and multi-supplier teams 
  • 3+ years’ of demonstrated experience with systems implementations (omni-channel, MECM, automated software deployments, Intune, Chat Bots, Virtual Agents, Removable Data Storage Management Solution, Crestron, logical design and audio video systems), systems and process integrations (ServiceNow, Microsoft Teams), re-engineering or other large/complex projects 
  • 5 years of demonstrated advanced problem-solving, decision-making and organization to prioritize amongst many conflicting needs and to advocate a course of action and pursue it consistently 
  • 5 years of demonstrated flexibility and responsiveness to dynamic situations, especially in a multi-provider IT environment 
  • Must have experience in Negotiating and Supplier Management
  • Must have Cyber Security certification (e.g. vulnerability assessments, threat intelligence, computer network and defence fundamentals, or applicable equivalents)
Nice-to-have:
  • Should be a master in Transition Management
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification
  • Advanced ITIL Certification at the Practitioner or higher level
  • Lean / Six Sigma Belt Certification at the Green Belt or higher level
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification through the Scrum Alliance Experience
  • Bilingual in English and French

* Knowledge & Skills

  • 3+ years’ professional background with systems implementations (omni-channel, MECM, automated software deployments, Intune, Chat Bots, Virtual Agents, Removable Data Storage
  • Management Solution, Crestron, logical design and audio video systems), systems and process integrations (ServiceNow, Microsoft Teams), re-engineering or other large/complex projects
  • Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex business documents and IT contracts
  • Ability to respond effectively to sensitive issues
  • Ability to write reports, manuals, and presentations using distinctive style
  • Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics to each level of the organization (staff, managers, directors, executive leadership)
  • Ability to motivate and negotiate effectively with key employees, management, and client groups to take desired action
  • Ability to solve advanced problems and deal with a variety of options in complex situations.
  • Requires expert level analytical and quantitative skills with proven experience in developing strategic solutions. Will draw upon the analysis of others and make recommendations that have a direct impact on the branch/division/cluster/enterprise
  • In-depth knowledge of financial terms and principles
  • Deep operational knowledge in complex organizations
  • Ability to predict possible risks and proactively develop mitigation plans with the appropriate stakeholders. Can lead teams through solutions and enable successful outcomes
  • Expert at ensuring all scope is accounted for within the transition and transformation plan; can proactively develop custom components based off client needs and can lead the development of new components into the initial plan
  • Project Management Institute (PMI) certification, such as the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or equivalent
  • Working knowledge of one or more formal project management methodologies
  • Bachelor’s degree or College Diploma in business or computer-related field or equivalent experience
  • IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Certification at the Foundations or higher level: ITIL4 preferred
  • Strong knowledge of IT Operations Management (ITOM) and IT Service Management (ITSM) Concepts
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to work weekends and / or off-hours as necessary to meet our clients' needs
