Our valued client is looking for a Snr Software Developer (C#.NET) to work with product owners and vendors to map out and develop the architecture of different technology solutions!

Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with product owners and vendors to map out and develop the architecture of different technology solutions. Facilitate the design and implementation of technical solutions and processes related to technology architecture.
  • Work with product owners and broader stakeholders in defining possibilities and futures, principles, standards and guidelines regarding proper use and deployment.
  • Provide input into the development of business case(s).
  • Own the technical engagement and ultimate success around specific solution and technology implementation projects.
  • Identify risks or issues with technology solution and design, which may impact realization of project benefits and provide guidance and support to stakeholders in making good decisions to pro-actively resolve or mitigate potential risks/delays to projects.
  • Ensures that systems are functionally appropriate, technically sound and well-integrated.
  • Identify and research relevant technologies, perform Proof of Concepts/Prototypes, and recommendation applications of such technologies to future product architectures.
  • Develop a deep understanding of organizational complexity to build strong rapport with the appropriate matrix areas for the construction and delivery of the solution, in addition to a deep understanding of how our legacy applications support our current state.
  • Implementation and customization of Office 365 and SharePoint-based solutions for Collaboration Portals, Enterprise Content Management, Workflows and Enterprise Search.
  • Advocate for and support software engineering best practices and processes.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines; Troubleshoot technical issues, perform root cause analysis and take appropriate action to remediate issues; Advise on and assist in development of information architecture.

Must Have Skills:
  • 2+ years of experience as a solution architect
  • 8+ years of experience in software development 
  • Experience with C#.NET, VB.NET and Java
  • Experience developing and architecting applications for a cloud (Azure preferred).
  • Experience building distributed / service oriented / microservice-style and cloud-based application architectures.
  • Experience in Automation/Continuous Integration (Azure DevOps, Concourse, Jenkins, Octopus Deploy, etc.).
  • SQL skills and experience with Microsoft SQL; Experience designing and implementing RESTful API and microservices.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies.
Nice to Have Skills: 
  • Rapid prototyping using a variety of modern UI frameworks (Web and mobile)
  • Experience using Kubernetes container-based deployment technologies
  • Proficient in the techniques that go into producing designs of complex systems, including requirements discover and analysis, prototyping, formulation of solution context, identification of solution alternatives and their assessment, technology selection and design configuration.
