Our valued client is seeking a Sr. Bilingual Change Manager to support the change management strategy and plan of a transformation journey of a refreshed operating model

An initial 10-month contract - with possibe extension of 12 - months. Remote working model - Open to all of Canada 

Responsiblities:
  •  Develop and lead the implementation of a change management strategy and plan for the project;
  • Apply change management best practices, methodology, processes and tools, including the design and execution of change management activities, readiness assessments and stakeholder impact analyses;
  • Develop and maintain change management documentation, working in an integrated way with project management and Organizational Change Management
  • Identify change risks and potential impacts, develop a change risk mitigation plan, and implement action plans to reduce or eliminate change risks
  • Develop and/or oversee the development of communication, engagement, sponsor/leaders and training plans in collaboration with other relevant teams within the comapny
  • Monitor change adoption, and provide recommendations to stakeholders on best practices and targeted actions that will manage resistance to change
  • Define, track and report progress against change management performance metrics, in alignment with benefits realization for the project
  • Provide sound change management advice and guidance to project leaders in an effort to mitigate change risks, support decision-making, and ensure integration across other company dependant change initiatives
  • Conduct presentations and awareness sessions to promote, explain and provide exposure to change management value, principles, processes and tools, as required by the project team and stakeholder needs
  • Actively participate in project management meetings and provide updates on change management support
  • Provide regular change management reviews for sponsor and project leads
  • Build and maintain connections across the company in an effort to anticipate change management needs and influence planning and execution decisions
  • Ensure transfer of ownership of all change outcomes to proper business leads for sustainment of the implemented changes
Must Have Skills:
  • 10+ years experience with projects involving: operations optimisation; operational excellence; change of processes, systems and behaviors
  • Extensive knowledge of change management best practices and Prosci methodology
  • Change management certification (Prosci preferred, others acceptable)
  • Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodology
  • Bilingual. Strong oral and written communication skills in English and French.
