Sr. Bilingual Functional Analyst to support the Launch of Enterprise Web Banking Solution for Large Banking Client - 5545

9 months intially - possible conversion to permanent

A successful candidate will be participating in the setup of a new web and mobile transactional site for nationwide customers. More specifically this will involve managing dependencies with different matrix resources, document user stories, as well as, ensure that the chosen solution meets operational needs and fits seamlessly into the overall solution.

Responsibilities:

• Manage dependencies with different matrix resources, including external suppliers as well as local and foreign resources.
• Help monitor team progress on a daily basis in sprints, supporting the scrum master
• Establish a culture of performance management by optimizing processes and implementing metrics
• Support product owners to identify business needs and help them facilitate workshops and conduct interviews.
• Support the identification, verification and documentation of user stories (operational, functional and technical) to support the development of technology and business driven technology solutions.
• Identify inconsistencies, discrepancies and conflicting user stories and work with stakeholders to clarify these inconsistencies and make a decision for resolution
• Collaborate with JAVA developers to determine solutions for each user story
• Facilitate and coordinate conversations with product managers and experts to ensure that the chosen solution meets operational needs and fits seamlessly into the overall solution
• Assign user stories to functional team members for configuration, solution build management, and review of related TAU scripts. 
• Support the QA team and adoption team by answering questions, reviewing documentation (e.g. test scripts and training materials) and providing context for related decisions at design
• Identify and raise risks, issues and constraints faced by teams and make recommendations to resolve them
• Contribute to project planning, as it relates to functional resource capacity

Must Haves:

• Min. of 6 years of experience as a Functional Analyst contributing to a Web Application launch or migration project
• Knowledge of the financial services industry in Canada 
• Knowledge of areas of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), DevOps principles and Agile methodology
• Extensive knowledge of web and mobile solutions.
• Functional understanding of data integration and migration principles, such as the use of APIs and ETCs
• Bilingualism (spoken/written) French and English 

Nice to Haves:

• Ability to design and implement configurations for different integrations in the banking ecosystem
• Experience in managing personnel
