Our Valued Public sector client is looking to hire a Senior Business Analyst (Secret cleared) to draft policy and system requirements specifications (SysRS) for a secure mobile device solution.
Background:
The required consultant will assist in supporting the Secure Command and Control Mobile Device – Secure Tailored Solutions (SC2MD-STS) project. The Project is in the Options Analysis (OA) phase, which is planned to complete during 2023. The resource is required to assist SC2MD-STS with Project control documents, evaluation of proposed high-level architectures, technology and support solutions, and drafting of the initial System Requirements Specifications (SysRS).

The resource is required to assist SC2MD-STS with Project control documents, evaluation of proposed high-level architectures, technology and support solutions, and drafting of the initial System Requirements Specifications (SysRS).
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate, analyze, generate and manage requirements that will support the SysRS, using accepted departmental methodologies;
- Draft policy and SysRS;
- Support the elicitation of technical and operational support requirements;
- Analyze the requirements and model them using Qualiware for both the “as-is” and “to-be” state. This will include:
- performing business analysis of functional requirements to identify information, procedures and decision flows;
- definition and documentation of interfaces to the systems; and
- recommendations and documentation of acceptance test criteria;
- Support the analysis of the viable options identified and make recommendations on the most suitable. This may include performing:
- benchmark analyses;
- cost analyses including the full life-cycle cost;
- Develop in-service support and lifecycle support plans, documented in Concept of Operations (CONOPS), Concept of Support (CONSUP), Configuration Management and Operation & Maintenance manuals;
- Provide supporting information for use in Request for Change (RFC) and Security Assessment and Authorization (SA&A) submissions, in accordance with the clients processes;
Must have:
- University degree or Diploma (2 years).
- 5+ years of experience gathering requirements in a large IM/IT project
