Our financial client is looking for a Sr. Business Analyst with previous Capital Markets experience to help build data provision, reporting and controls solutions for a large banking client - 139530

Department:QTS
Business Unit: BCST; Regulatory Reporting and Service Technology is 100+ strong globally distributed team, part of the Business and Client Services technology team in the Bank's CM. The RRST team follows agile methodology to build Data provision, reporting and controls solutions for the Bank's regulatory services and other enterprise consumers

Project Name: Multiple projects across the RRST group including regulatory reporting (global regulations) and internal data consumer initiatives across finance, enterprise etc.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Analysis of Consumer requests, impact assessment, prioritization and details requirement and functional specification documentation
• Support testing and development
• Liaise with Business users for defining acceptance criteria, requirements etc
• Participation in Agile ceremonies and creating stories

Must-have Skills:

• 8+ years of experience in business analysis, System analysis in a project based environment.
• 8+ years of experience in Capital markets initiatives, product knowledge and end to end life cycle knowledge

What program/technology/software knowledge is essential for this role? 

• Data base - SQL for analysis and testing
• Excel – Data analysis
• Data mapping and modeling
• XML\FPML  - mapping or modeling new fields or products
• Jira, Confluence, Process flows and Visio – Ongoing documentation of requirements
