Our valued client in the financial sector is seeking a Sr. Data Warehouse Support Analyst to maintain data warehouse and analytics architecture

For a 1-Year contract to be worked remote

Responsibility: 

• They will take the lead in incident response and service requests in support of our business partners and works with DW Developers, Source System developers and business partners. 
• The DW Support Analyst is responsible for ensuring the functionality, security, availability, and accuracy of the information within the Data Warehouse environment.
• Maintains, and provides support for data warehouse systems and related data marts
• Lead and coordinate the investigation and resolution of all Data Warehouse issues
• Proactively identifies opportunities for process, systems, and other efficiency improvements
• Works effectively others and contributes to group effectiveness through personal style
• Monitors and supports data integration/ETL jobs using DataStage and its foundation tools in a SQL Server and Windows environment
• Leads stakeholder communications during major incidents
• Leads the root cause analysis post incident resolution with the goal of an overall reduction of incidents

Must have skills:

• 7+ Years experience as a Data Warehouse Support Analyst
• Experience with Data Technologies such as Data Warehouse, Data Marts, Data Lake, Data Stage, Data Extracts, Reporting, IBM Workflow Scheduler, data flows, ETL, and integrations
• Experience with  various data structures and formats and common techniques in data transformation

Nice to have skills:

• Incident response and management
• Reporting through ITSM tools
