MUST HAVE:
- Project experience within finance, change delivery experience.
- 5-10 years experience
- Banking experience in Finance
- SAS Coding Experience
- Bachelor’s degree. A post graduate degree preferred (e.g. MBA, CPA, ACA or CFA)
About the role
This is a key business finance role that is focused on project management in addition to business partnering and driving business performance by providing insightful business performance analytics, highlighting risks and opportunities, and providing strong commercial finance support
Responsibilities
• Be a trusted partner with the Wholesale business and provide commercial and value add analytics and advice for sound decision making
• Proven ability to manage projects
• Manage and develop technical financial analysis and modeling to support business result tracking and decision-making particularly in regards to client profitability. Provide performance review and benchmarking analysis of the supported business
• Partner with Sr. Management to identify and evaluate opportunities and risks
• Support the development and review of business unit business plan and presentations
• Prepare competitor analysis to assess performance versus peers
• Supports the leaders of the CMB and GB Business in Canada
• Respond to requests and inquiries from senior management, business managers, product development and marketing to prepare analysis and metrics
