Sr. Fullstack Developer (Node.js, React.js/Typescript) with API development experience for a large banking client - 139883

Our banking client is looking for a Sr. Fullstack Developer (Node.js, React.js/typescript) with API development experience to develop an interface for virtual assistants and NLP toolkits.

Title: Sr. Fullstack Developer
Contract Length: 4 months, high possibility of extension
Location: Hybrid - 2 days per week (Thursday & Friday) - 88 Queens Quay, Downtown Toronto

Responsibilities:

• Develop an amazing interface for our virtual assistants and NLP toolkits
• Develop back-end integrations with internal and external platforms that enable the AI to deliver automated services and content
• Develop front-end integrations with platforms such as slack, teams, and outlook to deliver a native experience
• Work in an agile setting and perform code reviews, unit testing, and system testing

Must Haves:

• Experience with Node.js, Typescript and/or React.js
• Understanding of DevOps practices, design patterns and a foundational understanding of security, networks, and architecture
• Experience developing Rest APIs from scratch
• Experience working with APIGEE to build external end-points

Nice to Have:

• User-interface design experience and expertise with Photoshop or Adobe Illustrator
• Experience utilizing NLP techniques for mining unstructured text data
• Experience using Docker and related technology (e.g. docker compose, kubernetes, etc.)
• Experience contributing to open source projects
• GitHub account with a Portfolio for demonstration and review
