Sr IT Infrastructure Architect role to lead the establishment of standards and technologies for various Infrastructure Modernization programs upon which digital solutions will be developed/deployed for our public sector client - 23204
Contract: 12 months (+ 6 month extension)
Target start date: November 15th
Hours: 37.5 per week
Location: Hybrid - North York
Responsibilities:
- Lead the establishment of standards and technologies upon which digital solutions will be developed and deployed, and translate client requirements into solutions that create value.
- Participate in projects to establish direction, provide high level estimates and the solution architecture, ensuring adherence with the long term architecture roadmap while respecting both long term and tactical objectives.
- The goal is to optimize operating costs, achieve saving while provide superior customer service through the development and deployment of customer solutions, using best practices and industry expertise to provide a solution that meets our customer’s requirements.
Must haves:
- 10+ years as a Sr Infrastructure Architect
- 4+ years’ experience in leading cloud model architecture and Windows end-user computing with Azure - Iaas, Paas, Saas
- Experience in delivering Digital Solutions across multiple channels and form factors (e.g., web, mobile, etc.)
- Experience in migrating workload from Data Centre to Cloud
- Conducting network assessment, end point devices [IOT, OT, Workstations, Servers, Mobile devices], Building Disaster Recovery, Assessing backup, restore, archive and storage, Identity and access management platforms
Nice to haves:
- Experience in discovering gaps or weaknesses in security architecture to identify and mitigate known security threats or inherent weaknesses.
