This is a permanent, full time role based out of Vancouver BC. Vancouver with a minimum of travel of once a month to their Northern BC mining sites.

Must Haves:
- 8+ years of experience developing processes for IT Service Delivery Management using ITIL best practices.
- Strong relationship management experience with external vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Coaching/mentoring experience
- Oil & Gas or Mining experience.
- Supervise the transition of IT services (including applications and infrastructure) from development, through release and deployment, to ‘steady state’ production, including the following processes and activities.
- Drive operational discipline in alignment with business priorities and expectations through clearly defining what is expected, ensuring understanding of expectations, verifying that expectations are delivered on and leading by example.
- Lead, coach, mentor and support employees and direct reports to understand and deliver on the planning commitments.
- Drive the implementation strategies to maximise asset potential and deliver on the plans; aligning resources, people, succession plans and development.
- Identify the need for change to deliver on operational objectives; supports, drives and monitors change initiatives.
- Ensure effective safety and health management across areas of accountability through high standards of housekeeping, effective critical controls and proactive elimination of hazards.
- Provide leadership in the identification and management of risk through compliance with risk management processes and practices.
- Elevate developing issues and concerns to the Departmental Manager for consultation and advice to reach agreed interventions and solutions, report back on the effectiveness.
- Assist in the delivery of IT projects in accordance with business requirements and needs
