Project details: The purpose of this project is to build an end-to-end application for procurement team to provide them with data-driven insights and reduce the cycle time of contracting via leveraging NLP/ML and automation. As a senior/lead full stack software developer, you will be responsible for designing a highly reliable and efficient software architecture in K8S in Google Cloud Platform and lead its development and maintenance in production. We are not developing regular software systems; our solutions will be presenting tons of data, insights, and AI/machine learning predictions while immersing our end users in a rich experience. In other words, we are developing innovative, data-driven, customer-centric digital experiences for internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
Location: REMOTE (might have occasional office meetings to closest location)
Duration: 1 year (possibility of extension)
Must have skills:
- At least 5 years of full-stack software development using JavaScript (React.js and Python), Rest API’s and GitHub
- Experience with the development of reliable large-scale web applications with 100’s of concurrent users
- Experience working in an Agile delivery environment
- General knowledge and experience of cloud technologies for software systems
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or in Computer Engineering (or related field)
- Knowledge and experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) specially Kubernetes Engine, BigQuery, Postgres is a big plus.
- Knowledge and experience of presenting data and insights using HTML frameworks such as D3 is a big plus
- Experience with serverless and microservice architectures in the cloud
