Our large energy client is seeking a Sr. Project Coordinator to do risk management and sub-project planning for a Customer Loyalty Software Transformation starting Jan 2023 for 6 months with possible extension. 

Must-have:
  • 8+ years Project Coordination experience
  • 5+ years experience working in a large company (5000+ employees)
  • Experience coordinating risk management aspects of a project (ie. managing project risk register, driving mitigation and contingency plans)
  • Advanced skills in Powerpoint (brainstorming presentation techniques and consolidating into slide decks)
Nice-to-have:
  • Experience supporting project financial management(ie. monthly project reconciliation, resource forecasting, variance reporting, spend analysis)
  • Experience in an agile environment
  • Experience using SmartSheet and/or Jira
Key Accountabilities:
  • Keep the risk register current, drive mitigation and contingency plans.
  • Proactively manage and update all project RAID documentation sets
  • Manage multiple interdependent sub projects, inter project dependencies and critical paths
  • Manage project budget, actuals and forecast. Assisting in project financial management - Updating of the project resource plan, collecting resource hours, calculating the variance, entering/adjusting resource forecasts, working with the PM and Project Controls analyst on monthly project reconciliation.
  • Work in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies
  • Lead 2 to 3 smaller sub-projects, driving delivery, unblocking issues, action items
  • Communications – creating powerpoint decks and senior-level status update email communications
  • Backfill Program Manager when needed
Project: Customer loyalty software transformation including a move to the cloud and modernizing systems. Team Size = 15. First target go live is June 2023, but subsequent work is expected after on other related items.
