 Our valued client is looking for a Sr. Project Manager to handle multiple infrastructure projects!

1 year contract, hybrid in Ottawa

Responsibilities: 
  • Coordination and contribution to the project charting and approval process, as applicable. 
  • Coordination of the project team, other departments, external vendors, and regional business groups to successfully deliver the project.
  • Acting as a primary liaison between Portfolio Delievery Group and project teams and ensuring compliance with the Portfolio Delievery Group project methodology.
  • Management of project to scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
  • Management of all project deliverables including change management activities.
  • Creation and management of an integrated project schedule and project plan for all workstreams in the project.
  • Planning and leadership of steering, project status and team meetings.
  • Preparation of monthly project forecasts, status reports and metrics.
  • Ensuring project deliverables meet the required quality standards and phase exit criteria.
  • Management of project risks, dependencies, and change requests.
  • Facilitation and management of project document reviews.
  • Management of the training and knowledge transfer activities.
  • Coordination of implementation activities and transition to the support teams.
  • Support of internal and external quality and safety audits and contribution to the development and implementation of corrective action plans
Must Have Skills:
  • 5+ years exeperiece as a Project Manager 
  • 5+ experience in IT Infrastructure including: Desktop management, Servers, Storage and Networking, and Cyber Security Technologies.
  • Experience with MS Project, Word, Excel, and Visio.
  • Expereince managing vendors and large 2m+ Capital purchases.
  • Have the ability to perform tasks according to established standards & procedures, and a System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) framework including waterfall and agile.
Nice to Have Skills:
  • PMP certification
