Sr. Project Manager to oversee the migration and enhancements of the Global Public Health Intelligence Network (GPHIN) Project

On behalf of our GoC client, S.i. Systems is searching for a Sr. Project Manager to oversee the migration and enhancement Global Public Health Intelligence Network (GPHIN) Project.  The intended outcome of this project is to migrate the GPHIN platform from the National Research Council (NRC) servers to the Health Canada (HC) Cloud environment.

Located in Ottawa, and performed remotely until onsite work is available, this contract shall begin September 27th 2021 and last until March 31st, 2022, with a strong chance of renewal/extension.

Job Deliverables and Tasks:

• Overseeing the execution of the project plan activities and tasks.
• Creating gating documentation required for the GPHIN Migration Project.
• Prepare effort estimates for the GPHIN Migration deliverables.
• Plan and create sprints schedules
• Prepare project gating documentation
• Create and maintain risk/ issue log
• Manage and coordinate all project activities
• Ensuring effective communication and collaboration throughout the project with internal and external stakeholders
• Setting project’s priorities in consultation with Public Health Agency of Canada, Health Canada and National Research Council (NRC)
• Planning project’s scope and sequencing.
• Developing schedules and cost estimation.
• Managing risks, issues and reporting progress.
• Attending project’s meetings as required.
