Sr. Sales Advisor to support the Low Carbon Energy Solutions program - 21983
Location: North York (Hybrid)
*PERMANENT POSITION*
Job Description
Here’s what you will do:
• Responsible for assigned sales targets supporting the team’s overall objectives.
• Drive sales results by developing business cases, creating compelling sales presentations, and positioning us as a valued partner in installing and servicing low carbon technologies.
• Establishing and forming relationships with customers, builders, and developers at all levels in their organizations to find opportunities, promote low carbon solutions, resulting in the installation of product offerings.
• Develop, update, and implement annual sales plans for assigned segments and customers.
• Provide accurate and timely market outlooks and forecasts through the utilization of our CRM system by updating sales opportunities as they develop and progress through to competition.
• Support the low carbon team by providing market intelligence, industry and customer trends, purchasing behaviors and other relevant information to help inform product positioning and go to market strategies.
• Represent our organization at external events such as conferences, symposiums, and trade shows.
• Work with external customers, trade allies and at industry events to promote low carbon solutions with the goal of building sales opportunities.
• Engage with key partners to generate a wide variety of low carbon sales opportunities including non-government organization, technology manufacturers and product distributors.
Must Have:
• A Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Business, Marketing, or Engineering) and 7+ years of directly related experience in B2B Sales, Customer Strategy and marketing strategy.
• Strong understanding of the new construction / new development industry (residential, commerical builds)
• Negotiation experience with external parties.
• Strong team skills for working with various functional areas, external vendors, and various support areas.
• MBA, membership in P.Eng of Ontario or similar organization will be preferred.
Working Conditions:
• Travelling including overnight, mainly within Ontario is required. A valid Ontario G class driver's license and maintenance of a responsible driving record is required.
• Regular visits to customer facilities and job sites to assess energy efficiency opportunities on weekly basis.
