Story Behind the Need:

•      The Enterprise Technology Advisory Services team is responsible for assessing risk on technology changes and identify risk mitigating controls. The IT Security Analyst role will be focused on Firewall port request reviews and approvals, including creation of security memos for sign off.



Typical Day in Role:

•      Review Firewall port requests on a daily basis, this will include Cloud security (GCP, Azure)

•      Provide approvals and complete risk memos incase risk is identified

•      Directly reporting to the Senior Manager, Information Security Advisor

•      Contractor will be working closely with the Network team, Security Advisory team and Business lines

Must-Have skills:



  • 10+ years of working experience as an IT Security Analyst and Networking
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience and strong knowledge on traffic flows and firewall requests
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience applying network security architecture principles
  • CISSP Certification is required


Nice-To-Have



  • Previous experience working with Algosec is an asset
  • Previous experience with Cloud security (GCP and Azure)
  • CEH Certification

Education:
