Sr. Systems Administrator (Network) to support, maintain, upgrade and patch of F5 Big-IP solutions - Government Client

Our valued public sector client is looking for a Senior Systems Administrator to provide support for the GCMS/eServices Portfolio. 

System Administrator (Network Manager) - Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Monitor performance of F5 devices, including the performance of the load balanced server pools and its members;
2. Provide administration and support of F5 Big-IP LTM Objects;
3. Create and configure new Virtual Servers and server pools;
4. Execute analysis, design, development and support of F5 Big-IP iRules;
5. Apply problem solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems on F5 Big-IP solutions;
6. Monitor database errors for production problems and interface errors;
7. Create tickets and document any new errors;
8. Monitor exception logs using various tools;
9. Work with business analysts, project managers, developers, and clients/stakeholders to maintain and improve software performance;
10. Troubleshoot and fix environmental issues reported against Non-Production and Production environments;
11. Analyze system performance and errors and recommend improvements;
12. Provide advice to co-workers and managers for knowledge transfer;
13. Provide briefings and status reports to management;
14. Develop build books and installation documents
