Sr. Techno-Functional ServiceNow Consultant to map out the strategy, implementation, and configuration of ServiceNow (ITSM and Asset Management) for our education client

 

Location: North York (Hybrid – 3 to 4 days a week)

Duration: 4–6-month contract

Hours: 7.5/day



Must have skills:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in ServiceNow implementation projects in the role of a ServiceNow Techno/Functional Consultant, with a specific focus on ITSM, HRSD, Change Management and Assets Management modules.
  • Proven track record of collaborating with IT and HR stakeholders and effectively managing cross-functional teams to deliver solutions.
  • Exceptional skills in documentation, reporting, and presentation, ensuring clear and effective communication of project updates and insights.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, enabling you to interact with diverse teams and convey complex ideas clearly.


Nice to Have:

  • Possession of ServiceNow certifications, such as Certified Implementation Specialist or Certified System Administrator, is preferred


Project Details:

  • Our education client is starting a project to implement ServiceNow for all its Employee facing functions. This includes ITSM, HR, Finance, Payroll and other departments. The largest and most complicated will be ITSM and HR focused.
  • The client is in the process of selecting an implementation partner. They're looking for a Technical Manager to lead the implementation from their perspective.
  • The contractor will partner to lead, architect and successfully implement the project.
  • Using best practices approach, this role is crucial in reducing complexity, identifying and mitigating risks and in setting up smooth ongoing management of these systems.
  • The contractor will play an integral role in project planning, gathering requirements, architecting the changes, leading the configuration of the changes and in managing integrations.
  • The contractor will also support the testing, user acceptance and training.
