Sr Test Lead with WorkSoft experience to manage SAP testing activities and projects for our Automotive client.

Contract: 12 months
Hours: 37.5 per week
Location: Scarborough (Hybrid - 2 days onsite)
 
Purpose of the Role:

• Working in conjunction with Systems Integrator and internal representatives to manage testing track including: test planning & preparation, test execution and defect management utilizing Microfocus ALM

Scope or Impact:

• Manage testing activities / life cycle to ensure as many defects are addressed prior to go-live; development of repeatable and sustainable processes
• Cross functional, enterprise wide
• Involved in entire testing life cycle
• Direct impact on user experience during testing, go-live and post-go-olive
• Testing completed on schedule, within approved budgets, and effectively deploy resources to deliver quality product and services.

Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage testing track of work from Initiation through Closure aligning testing framework with Agile methodologies to ensure successful completion.
• Actively manage plans, dependencies, scope, risks, issues, quality at the track level to ensuring commitments are met.
• Effectively track deliverables, milestones, and change requests as applicable.
• Report on testing status including executive dashboards and standards
• Implement & support testing standards and methods and tools both for the program and for post program sustainment
• Drive resolution of any conflicts and escalate as needed to avoid roadblocks.
• Manage cross-functional teams (IT, business, 3rd party vendors, etc.) in a matrix management framework.
• Manage stakeholder relations to ensure that expectations are clearly defined and met.

Must haves:

• 3-5 years in a Test Lead role using formal testing / quality methodologies integrated into overall project management methodology
• 3 years managing a testing portfolio within an SAP Program
• Experience with WorkSoft
• Experience testing in a cross functional and enterprise-wide environment utilizing Agile Methodologies
• Experience implementing testing practices within an SAP program.

Nice to haves:

• Microfocus ALM experience is preferred
• Prior SAP Upgrade / Migration experience preferred
• Understanding of API/API testing in an integrated landscape preferred
• Understanding of Performance Testing and related metrices preferred
