Sr. UX Designer to support the digital products for a large insurance client - 4794


Duration: 1 year (possibility for extension)

Location: Remote

Candidates are expected to present a portfolio of their past work to highlight their UX/UI accomplishments/experience.


The Senior UX Designer will join our Client Experience team. You will work with an agile team to champion human-centred design, define our clients’ needs and behaviours, and to ensure they closely align with our key success metrics. You will collaborate with product owners, engineering and broader UX teams, as well as key stakeholders across our business to deliver meaningful data-driven design solutions.


Must Have Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience as a UX Designer with focus in user-centered digital design and user experience
  • Experience with design and collaboration tools such as Figma, Miro, etc.
  • Knowledge of current accessibility standards
  • Insurance/Banking industry experience


Nice To Have Skills:

  • Bilingual (French/English)
  • University degree or certification in User Experience
  • Experience working in agile methodology


Job Responsibilities:


  • Apply user-centered design principles to influence project strategy and direction
  • Create best-in class digital experiences based on client, business and technical inputs creating desirable and consistent journeys for users across multiple platforms, devices and channels
  • Develop new concepts, storyboards, screen flows, detailed designs and prototypes to clearly articulate solutions
  • Lead the production of design specs and other documentation as needed within all project timelines
  • Take ownership to drive the UX strategy - be an evangelist for UX practices across the company
  • Conduct concept and usability testing to iteratively validate and improve design solutions and ensure usability standards are met
  • Actively collaborate as part of the cross-functional Agile team to ensure designs are feasible and implemented accurately
