Sr. Vendor Management Specialist to focus on building, maintaining and enhancing relationships with the vendors and internal stakeholders - 20362
Location: North York (Hybrid Model)
Duration: 1yr contract (possible extension)
HIGH LEVEL DESCRIPTION
• Lead, manage and negotiate contracts up to $150M in value
• Lead a range of vendor initiatives and over 30 relationships varying in scope, complexity and criticality
• Lead individual managed service contracts of up to $40M/year
• Facilitate operational and capital budgeting activities for all TIS vendor related spend (Approx. $300M)
• Carry out complex work, generally requiring medium to long term focus
• Develop processes and roll-out of enterprise technology vendor management to 1200 employees
Must Have:
• A bachelor's degree in a related field (business, supply chain management, computer science or similar)
• Seven or more years of professional experience in Vendor Management, IT Service Delivery, or Supply Chain Management with an IT focus.
• Proven leadership experience with/or managing global IT service vendors.
• Strong base understanding and capability to explore market knowledge, developments and trends related to current offerings and the vendor landscape.
• Capable of identifying and promoting efficient means of monitoring and measuring vendor performance.
Nice to Have:
• Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) experience desired
o VMO (Vendor Management Office) Standard Certification
o PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification
o ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) Certification
o Other certifications related to procurement, supply chain management and contract management
