Telecom Administrator experienced with mobile devices, maintain land/phone lines, processing hardware requests.

Our public sector client is seeking a Telecom Administartor.  The Information Management & Technology department at BC Housing is looking for an organized individual to fill the Telecom Administrator role. The position reports to the Technology Programs manager and assists in the day-to-day responsibilities of the technology program telecom area. The ideal candidate will have outstanding communication skills, excellent customer service, a desire to learn and develop, and can multitask. The of the role may evolve depending on the need of the department.

Responsibilities

• Support the Technology Programs manager with telecom administrative tasks
• Reconciliation of current phone lines with Rogers/Shaw/Telus phone lines noting contract numbers/accounts/service
• Review/maintain current land lines and directly managed buildings
• Processing all telecom payments online and over the phone
• Process of new phone lines/moving phone lines for directly managed buildings
• Maintenance of mobility agreements and hardware levels
• Processing mobility hardware requests for new hires, mobile incidents and upgrades
• Handling addition of remaining packages on mobile devices and deactivation of devices
• Ordering and monitoring accessories of telecom items

Qualifications Ideal candidates must-have:

• Working experience within telecom field
• Experience supporting multiple projects at once
• ​Experience with Microsoft Office products and inTune
• Extremely organized
• Great analytical skills
• Attention to detail
• Excellent communication (verbal and written) and inter-personal skills
• Excel working under pressure to meet deadlines and changing priorities
• Works well within a small team
