Our valued client requires the need for an IT Service Management Specialist to aid in the implementation of an IM/IT service management solution to support the initiatives and activities within the Information Systems department. The solution will enable the Information Technology Service Management Specialists department to make informed decisions and better respond to events that occur in the environment.
 
The visibility of information in the system and standardized processes should facilitate a proactive approach to managing incidents and handling known problems while utilizing workflow to eliminate nonvalue add activities.

Must Haves/ Tasks:
  • Ensure change management in the areas of configuration items and IT continuity
  • Working with the development and support teams as well as the SSC teams directly to obtain information.
  • Build and configure CMDB
  • Will also be working as part of a team to develop requirements for Service catalog and portfolio
  • Implement ITAM in both single Service Automation Solutions and cross integrations with multi-system environments
  • Develop and map ITIL based business processes
  • Configure and implement Service Catalog, IT Asset Manager (ITAM), Asset Portfolio Management (APM), ITAM Contract Management etc.
  • Design and develop workflows using Workflow for Catalog
  • Knowledge of BMC remedy
