A large Canadian public sector client with more than 30,000 employees interfacing with Canadians nationwide was deploying multiple projects that had both departmental and legislative oversight.
Our client needed to hire a large team of QA professionals to plan, coordinate, supervise and deliver on quality assurance (QA) for a new pandemic response system. But they could not move quickly enough to hire as many experts in both automated and manual testing as they needed for this high-volume project.
S.i. Systems has worked continuously with this client since 2002. Through an open and competitive bidding process, we were again contracted in 2015 to provide ongoing IT contract staffing services to a QA team dedicated to high-priority, citizen-facing applications.
Through S.i. Systems’ contract staffing team, we deployed 25 testers, coordinators, and team leads to multiple project teams including throughout the COVID-19 Pandemic response when applications needed to go live on tight timelines.
We exceeded client expectations over the four years of this project, and provided 25+ QA professionals for this project alone including the team lead and automation testing specialists. Our consultants ensured continuity and quality of service, performing integration, performance, regression, load, stress and user acceptance testing with emphasis on automating the testing procedures.
